masabi q lng na cguro kompleto ang supplements nila, in fact sa US, ang mga supplements ay super mura, like example yung superior amino 2222 320 tablets, sa US iconvert mo d2 ay aabot lng ng 700+php ata un, pero d2 1k+ pataas pa, yung nabili q kc 1.2k, ewan q lng qng may mas mura pa, ang GS whey d2 5lbs abut 2k+, sa US less than 2k lng...

I agree with the power of placebo.Pero madalas sa mga newbies nami-mislead talaga akala nila yun ang sagot sa goal nila.
makasali lang po, back to the threads title, I tried p90x twice as in 180 days ,to be honest my attendance was not that perfect, but I finished and got good gains from it. a little caution for beginners thought, the program is not easy. I've been lifting for more that 5 years before I tried it, but it still kicked by behind.
For me, since I do very demanding activities. p90x helped my body adapt to whatever harshness of the environment dishes onto me. It could give you the ika nga survival factor. Bodybuilders tend to bulk lift and rest, and when competition time they cut eat little lift and rest some more.
p90x was not designed for the big mammoth figure that a ronnie, arnold, dorian and jay has.
But if you are a firefighter, police officer, a SWAT operator or some SF operative , you will really benefit from the intense body weight and plyo movements required in the program.
also, athletes like ball players and MMA fighters can get a good strength and conditioning from p90x.plus all the nutritional guidelines included with it, you wont miss your goal.

I've tried the Insanity workout..but after almost 2-3 weeks nag stop ako. But next week I'll start again from Day 1. I am trying to lose weight/fat (overweight) and then maybe when I go home will hit the gym to build lean muscle.
Question though, what safe supplements can I take aside from multivitamins? Can I take whey protein? Really a newbie with this workout program. TIA
