Calling the broscience, masters & veteran here need your opinion. :
@Badass_vinch @Core @riddler @nrg500 and others feel free!!!
Ganito, im had a conversation with my officemate, nag bubuhat din sya. so may topic na- naibato. naikwento ko ung napanuod ko sa youtube na bodybuilder ung taiwanese ba un ung nakakatawa sya tapos pinakita nya ung bulking lifestyle nya na kumain sya ng 10k cal a day.
ok, then my officemate goes like:
" pare hindi na maganda un, 10k kakainin mo, sisirain un ung katawan mo, ung mga internal organs mo, tatamaan ung liver mo dun and etc."
meron pa tipong:
"ang katawan natin parang oto yan pag kinargahan mo ng mabigat masisira yan, di nya kaya iprocess ung ganun kadaming pagkain bibigay yan"
Isa pa:
"syempre pag kuain ka ng ganun kadami, syempre iproprocesso ng katawan mo yan, mapapagod ung mga internal organs mo, parang makina yan, mapapagod syempre kelangan mo ioverhaul at palita"
P.s medyo mahirap makipag talo sa makitid ang isip.. what can you say guys? i ended the convo with research kapa wala tayong argument pag wala kang facts. kasi sabi ko wala pang namatay sa bulking na bodybuilder. namamatay sila sa abuse of roids kaya nag fafail ung katawan nila pero hindi sa ganun kadaming pagkain. (not completely sure about this lol)

OA tlga yan si yang. Comedy tlga ung iba sarcastic nalang un. hehe
More like 10k cal THAT day.
MAPAPAGOD ANG INTERNAL ORGANS MO.. deep! haha!
ang alam ko nga 12k cal per day ( ? ) ata si michael phelps. naalala ko tuloy si furious pete, hehe!
For example, as rumored, Michael Phelps eats a ton of food daily to support his training. I think it's a valid reason to go overboard on food. Let's just assume that he trains intensely for around 6-8 hrs daily. Well, that sums up why he needs that much calorie. His energy needs are far more demanding than the typical gym rat. But you also have to realize that you can't just think like you can eat 10,000 calories without proper preparations. Adaptations needs to occur. You have to start eating more gradually. It's still takes the basic concept of Progressive Overloading. Do it without further preparation and adaptation, something is bound to break.
Think of it this way. Let's take for example, myself, I'm a small guy with a very frail bone structure. Do you think it's possible for me to weigh over 200lbs ripped? Or to squat/deadlift over 600lbs? In my case, I don't think so. Again, take the whole context, not just a small detail.
Now, with that in mind, let's just say I tried to attempt a 600lbs squat, what will happen to me? Take that concept, put it into that 10,000 calorie daily intake. Makes sense?
if thats the case IBANG USAPAN NA UN! NATTY OR NOT hohoho cheers
energy drink ayon sa aking nabasa ( 1k cal ) kada tunga eh nakaka dalawa daw kada araw

Anyway, fanboying aside, I think this is more about balancing recovery and nutrition as governed by the law of diminishing returns. Could someone work out enough to warrant 10k calories? Sure. Could you? Highly doubt it. I think there's a point while training where you can eat the most efficient amount to gain as much muscle with little fat. That would give you lean gains, meaning you dont have to cut. Others prefer bulking, which would give you more mass at the expense of fat, thus necessitating cutting. This 10k calories thing pushes that shit to the highest level lol. Would he gain more muscle than someone who's at 5k callories? Yes, but i dont think it's that large an amount, mostly i think it'll just be fat. Why do this tho? Cause it's fun haha. Eating is fucking fun. And of course it might spike your metabolism, but still i dont think that's the point. Anyway some say too much protein is bad for the kidneys, my doctor told me that once. Thing is he's not jacked so i didnt listen to him lol. Anyway, just read this )
