    Went to North Edsa today with my fiance and son. Finally found some wrist straps at Tobys and JB Sports - price was only 250p. Amazing how hard they are to find, since I had checked out SM Clark, SM Pampanga and SM Baliuag in the past 4 months - all with no luck.

    Also walked in to Slimmers World while there to check it out. I was kind of surprised to see a "supposedly" modern gym that doesn't even have a bench press or incline press for barbells - only the benches for db's. I asked one dude there working out about it, and he said they had to put the flat or incline bench in the squat rack if they wanted to do those exercises.

    Spent most my time letting my 2 y.o son play in the various places they have for kids, since he was throwing a fit if we tried to leave haha. Did lunch at Burger King and dinner at Stacker - that's the most beef I've had in 1 day since back in the US! :)Hit chest yesterday....

    Also was fucking THRILLED to see the owner of the gym I went to today bought some heavier db's! He bought 3 new pair - 50kg, 55kg and 57.5 kg. Sooo, after being relegated to using only 100's for the past 3+ years since being here in Philippines, I now have some new toys to play with - HELL YEAAAAHHH! :yahoo::sport:

    Yeah bro. The leg press at the gym is old and rusting, so I usually don't go over 800 for fear it might break. So whenever I go over 800, I get 2 spotters and tell them if this thing breaks, just pull the plates off as fast as you can so I won't be crushed haha. :)

    I didn't use the heaviest db's today. They weigh 57.5 kg (126.5 lbs) each. Felt good to finally have something heavier than 100's - the 55kg (121 lbs) didn't feel as heavy as I expected. Keep in mind it's been over 3+ years since I've had access to anything heavier than 100lbs, so I'm like a kid in a candy store haha! :yahoo:
