  • ok naman ang crossovers, though for me, nothing beats free weights. i used to do my exercises sa machines than free weights when i was starting, true they are easier to perform and you can definitely lift heavier sa machines than free weights coz it eliminates if not completely partially nung balance factor. kasi all you have to do is either push or pull. pro nung nag shift ako free weights mas mabilis ako nakapag pack ng muscles than machines though i still use machines for some exercise like ung tricep pushdowns, etc... just my two cents since nandun tayu somehow sa topic kung me kwenta or wala ung crossovers. i guess you could say matter of preference din minsan some who train, find the easiest way out pagdating sa exercises, for me the harder to perform the better, pro iniiwasan ko lang is ung mga exrcises na mataas ang risk ko magkainjury :)

thanks sa tips bro really helpful! may gumawa kasi ng program ko for this month: for example i used barbell today for chest (flat, incline, dips and dumbbell fly). next chest workout ko ay dumbbells naman (dumbbel bench press, dumbbell incline, etc). Then after nun, cables naman (5 different variations ng cable, nagpump tlga yung chest ko dahil sa squeeze kada rep). tapos back to barbell.
  • I wouldn't say cable crossovers are useless (medyo lang:D), pero once in a while why not? It's a great finishing movement for chest. Pwede rin gamitin pang warm-up, before going heavy w/ presses. To make it interesting pwede mo rin gamitin yung mga techniques like static hold, drop/strip set, etc.

In a nutshell, ok yang plano mo bro. You get to do something different everytime. Although yung isang chest day dedicated sa puro cable is a bit too much for me, kung ok sayo then why not?

maganda epekto ng crossover qng may muscle mass na chest mo, at qng gs2 mong chest na parang square ang dating, yung flat sya at ndi pabilog, sa benchpress lumalaki chest mo pero pabilog. finishing workout lng sa chest to, kya do it after all benchpresses.

Bossing, mawalanggalang lang. Pero hindi natin made-decide kung bilog man or square ang magiging muscle natin. Muscle shape is purely genetic.

Sure, this is true. To an extent. Whether we like it or not, genes play a role. But it can be overcome, of course. & syempre hindi natin pwedeng gawing excuse to. Maganda paring mindset yung hardwork & determination..

But in this case, pertaining to muscle shape, wala talaga tayong magagawa dito. LOL

^Apir! Muscle shape does not have anything to do with the exercises that we're doing. Ano yun para tanyong kahoy na niililok???

That part is now dictated by our genes, kasi kung may magagawa ang exercises jan eh di sana lahat na lang ng nagububuhat pareho itsura ng chest or whatever body part.

I like doing cable flyes :D especially yung galing baba yung pulley tapos pasahod hahahah

  • lol lol lol
