Hello, dito pala gagawa dapat ng Journal. HAHA

Again, I gained a lot of weight since graduation. I used to play volleyball, 68-72kg during my college years then now (well last January, I was 202lbs or 92kg.)

I decided na pag january magpapayat ako, my motivation? I want to play competetive-level again. nahuhurt pride ko pag naglalaro tapos di na ako kilala ng new players HAHAHA. sorry. ito talaga nagbigay ng tipping point na mag decide na need ko mag gym. naggygym naman ako before during offseason pero puro machines, then later part na yung dumbbell, (free weights). so, after 2 years of working, here I am. overweight. cant jump high. parati wala energy sa work.

So, I started my journey last January 3,2017. when I weighed in, I was 198 lbs. Im still on my week 2, but consistent naman. I run 5km a day sa sa treadmill 6x a week + lifting. interval training. briskwalking (3.0mph) then sprint/run (8.0mph). I cut out carbs in my diet well most of it. I dont really eat clean cause I believe sa IIFYM. perooo ang goal ko is to be on Keto.

problems. Since I cut out carbs and increase protein, and fats (70g is it enough?), The first week, I lost 4lbs. and now hindi pa tapos yung week another 3lbs. So Im 190 - 191lbs . worried kasi dba dapat 2lbs a week lang? HAHA

anyways. Ill be updating this journal siguro after 15 weeks para makita. hopefully babalikan ko to meaning naging consistent ako . wish me luck

  • its normal when you cut out carbs youll lose 10-15lbs in the 1st-3rd week, most if not all of it is just water, reason is when you take out the carbs, youll drain the glucose(glycogen) sa system mo, like sa liver and muscles, 1g of glycogen holds around 3-4x its own weight, when you stop that drastic weight loss, dun ka lang talaga mag bu-burn palang ng fat..btw, iifym only works for a few gifted individuals that genetically has a fast metabolism, people like me at my age need not apply,

    sir trolllll ! ako rin yun naturuan mo ng insulin spike. pansin ko everytime refined carbs . bagsak ako pagkatapos. ngayon na less carbs, gulay lang mas may energy ako. di ako gifted kaya baka di yun para saakin :(

    well, everybody's experience is different, maybe when you cut out carbs, your calories are also low, that will facilitate fat loss..what im sharing is just from experience..:)

    1200-1300 calories po ako daily. gusto ko makita anong matitira sa katawan ko after weightloss. baka gulay ako tignan with all this fat haha

  • ano po advisable? worried nga po ako eh kasi deficit ako plus cardio. sinunod ko lang ang fitnesspal.

    hi sir troll, patapos na po 3rd week ko. im in 188lbs.

    di ko alam pano maglagay ng photo here. problem sa 3 weeks ko sir troll di ako maka lift heavier weights. napapagod agad pero may energy naman sa workout like cardio. di lang nag improve weights ko. anyways.

    as per fitnesspal, advised sakin was 1300, kasi nilagay ko dun sedentary lifestyle. eh ngayon 5x to 6x a week na ako nag gygym (well 3weeks palang :D )

    dapat ba ito gawin ko instead?

    around 1800 calories?

    150ish carbs
    180ish protein
    50ish fats

    di ko kasi malagay yung photo huhuhu, or should i continue low carb na 1200-1300 cals a day

  • dapat 500 lang ang deficit, there will come a point na youll hit a wall and you need to bring down the calories even more, kaya mo pa bang babaan ang 1300? dapat start high, like 2500, then make a deficit via cardio or working out...then when the weight lost stops, bawas ka ng konti...
