Build Cardio for someone with very fast metabolism or not?

I have a very fast metabolism and is suffering from hyperadrenalin. Do i need to build up my cardio before hitting the gym or or not? Or just going to gym would suffice. I need to recover from over fatigue and had lost significantly muscle and bone mass. Im tall 5'1 muscle but bec i lost significant muscle and bone mass i look like a girl or famished refugee from the Holocaust days

    Go have your thyroid checked, you might have

  • Thank you for the reply. Yes im suffering from it taking and in medz. Would like to recover my body because it has stopped me from functioning normally like small walks and goin up and down stairs easily tire me like im out of breath maybe because my body has cannibalized muscle and bone. Its like its always on autophagy mode

    say if i gain a bit of weight or get a bit better should i go work on cardio before lifting weights on my case?

  • I know what autophagy is, everybody goes thru that every time you are in fasting mode, my mother has the same condition like yours thats why im familiar with it, she when thru an operation, now shes fine and doing aerobics and zumba 4x a week, shes almost 70, what did your doctor say? Is there a lump?

  • no lumps we found is triggered by extreme stress, i went through some rough hell for 5 years which have heavily impacted my health and body

  • Ah cortisol response, what did the doctor say? you taking anything for your thyroid? Better yet, anti thyroid, what did he say bout light strength training...? My uncle is a thyroid specialist, he removed part of my mother's thyroid, it stopped her from producing hormomes for hyperthyroidism, if memory serves me right, shes taking t4 levothyroxine..now she normal again.

  • yes its anti thyroid medz, he says i should eat more to store more nutrients to stop the body from self canibalism so he doesnt recomend me exercise yet but walks and light stretching just to stop the muscle athropy and again he says to eat a lot before doing any exercise. thats why im inquiring if its a good idea to build up my cardio a bit while recovering or after i have recovered my correct body mass

  • When i got out of the hospital this year, the first exercise i did was stationary bike, very low impact, just monitor your heart rate, not too high....good luck

  • thanks will try it, my goal is to recover slowly but surely so i can move around normally, im always bedridden but i struggle to stand and walk around the house from time to time just so my body wont fallapart. And thanks for the warm community here i appreciate it
