My first post

Ngayong lang ako nag register and post pero matagal na akong lurker.

Most of my life bahay office lang. Lalo na nung nagka asawa at anak ako. Nung medyo lumaki na mga kids, I realized wala na akong masyadong ginagawa sa bahay. Nagkataoon may gym sa baba namin. Mura lang at walking distance. So I gave it a try. Nagustuhan ko naman at kinaya ko. Exactly Sept 24, 2012 ako nagsimula. Tatlong taon na ngayon. I never expected na tatagal ako ng ganon. One thing I hate is doing the same thing over and over again. Going to gym is like that. Very monotonous so one needs extreme discipline and motivation to sustain the activity. Thanks to the internet and PBB, I managed to get very important info on the workout program and nutrition I need. Ah nutrition ikaw ang magic. I can safely say, maybe at least 50% of the whole process. From the whole food I eat up to the supplements I take, hindi puedeng ignore ang importance.

I do split workout, 4 times a week, 45 min to 1 hour per session. I have been taking whey for the past 3 years and now I'm trying creatine. Medyo nag plateau na kasi ako. Baka makatulong creatine for added push. No loading, just 5g per day. Whole food, medyo low carbs, high protein. Three main meals + 5 small meals. Kain lang ng kain. I have never eaten so much in my life. Medyo gastos nga lang pero worth it naman. I started at 145lbs. Ngayong I'm 170lbs at 5ft 8in height. Ngayon lang ako lumaki ng ganyan. All my life, ang payat ko. Medyo may taba at love handle sa mid section. Ang hirap alisin. Siguro kasama na sa age yung taba na yon.

Mahalaga gumanda porma ng upper body ko. Nagka laman at ang tigas. I don't expect anything spectacular pero what I have now is definitely much much better than 3 years ago. Pag tiningnan ko nga pictures ko 10 years ago, mukhang mas bata pa ako ngayon. Nakakatanda masyadong payat. Ang dami kong nabiling bagong pantalon at damit in the past 2 years. Ang sarap damitan ang porma ko ngayon. Parang nagbibinata ika nga. Body fitting shirts, skinny jeans, ayos. Aside from porma, good health is a welcome side effect. Bihira na akong magkasakit ngayon. Meron man, mababaw lang.

It is never too late to do anything. If you put your mind into something, nothing is impossible.

Did I mention I'm 51 years old na?

    Thanks mga boss. Yung bench plateau ko talaga ang number 1 obstacle ko ngayon. Ang hirap lagpasan. Anyway, try and try na lang ika nga.
