The Elusive 150

You get tired of being skinny at some point. You can't wear skinny jeans coz they're loose. You can't get a decent date. It eats up your self esteem.

I should have done this before but hey, I guess it's never too late.

    Ano ba diet mo ?

As a newbie, ang unahin mo dapat ay whole foods.

Try mo ICF 5x5 sir. Eto po link: https://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/jason-blaha-ice-cream-fitness-5x5-novice-workout , parang stronglifts lang rin to but with accessory workouts para mapagana ang hypertrophy. Watch mo nalang yung video diyan sir and search mo narin proper forms para sa exercises.

I would suggest you figure out first your diet. You can build muscle even with basic exercises like pull ups and dips as long as you are eating properly. If you have a shitty diet, it would be very difficult to build muscle mass even if you are using the training program of [put here the name of successful bodybuilder or powerlifter]

If budget for nutrition is tight, I would suggest you focus first on whole foods. Supplements are not mandatory for muscle gain

About my diet, more on carbs po siya eh.

Salamat sa input sir. Diet is definitely my priority. Hindi nga lang po ako malakas kumain. Mabilis akong mabusog.

I'll ask my PT muna sir about his recommendation. Pangit naman kung ibypass ko siya. Baka magtampo. Pero ang dami ngang nagrerecommend ng 5x5 so I guess effective talaga to. I'll definitely try this.

Focus on proteins bro! Read this. Mahabang basahan pero LAHAT, as in  LAHAT ng mga katanungan mo sa diet masasagot nyan, whenever I have free time I re-read that article (and certain specific chapters).

But I'm up for a challenge so kaya ko to.

Sa Gold's po. He said that 5x5 is a good program pero hindi nya raw muna irerecommend sa akin YET. Mga couple of months daw muna pag malakas na ako.
  • Can I just rant na di ko gusto yung lasa ng MM (Triple Chocolate). Are there any other ways to drink it or incorporate it with other foods?

haluan mo ng skim milk o kahit fresh milk  :)  or ihalo mo sa oatmeal, or gawin mong cookies
Haha
  • I started Stronglift 5x5 last Wednesday 7/29/2015 at sobrang sakit ng legs ko then set B this morning. Masakit pa rin legs ko pero it's better compared last Wednesday.

I just want to ask, kasi based on the 5x5 app na dinownload ko, I have to do, example lang, 50 pounds na squats eh 45 na yung bar so I'm wondering kung saan ko kukunin yung extra 5 pounds. What I did was squat 55 na lang. Inputs please. I just want to make sure that I'm doing this right.

    Diet is harder than workout.

I'm not surprised on that PT, they'll typically just make you use machines.

  • Good evening guys. I still have a +1 sa Gold's membership ko. No one wants it so might as well give it to someone else. Comment na lang or message me if you're interested. It's P1100 per month lang.
