Wheat Bread with 30 Grams of Protein per Slice

Okay, so I discovered this high protein bread being sold at SM supermarkets. According to its nutritional facts, it has 30 grams of protein PER SLICE. Possible kaya to? It lists high protein wheat flour as a main ingredient.

It really sounds too good to be true lalo na at sobra sarap ng wheat bread na to. What do you guys think? What kind of sorcery is this? Haha!

58 pesos lang. 10 or so slices. Lately eh yan ang kinakain ko breakfast. 2 slices niyan tapos 2 slices ng chicken ham. Easily 70 grams of protein and a little over 300 cals lang.

I don't really understand amino spiking that much, pero is this a case of amino spiking?

PS: It doesn't list 100% whole wheat flour as the main ingredient so it's not as healthy as it projects itself to be. Iba kase yung 100% whole wheat bread sa whole wheat bread. Notice that its name is "100% Healthy Whole Wheat Bread".

At this point, I'm not really that strict with my food intake. I still get around 200 grams of protein with or without this bread. Pero it would be nice to know if it's really possible for bread to have 30 grams of protein per slice. Yung P28 ata hindi ganyan kadami eh.

  • Wag ka maniwala dian.

    Ito ang proper calorie content

    per g of fats = 7 cals
    per g of protein = 4 cals
    per g of carbs = 4 cals

    Example:
If a food has 25g of protein, 50g of carbs and 10g of fats
pwd mo yan ma calculate yung calories nya by using the table above

    Fats: 10g x 7 = 70 cals
    Protein: 25g x 4 = 100 cals
    Carbs: 50 x 4 = 200 cals

    Overall: 370 cals

Yup expiration date yan. These are old pictures. Kinuha ko yan yung first time ko makabili nito ngayon ko lang naisip ipost dito. Hehe.

    30g of protein = 120 cals
    20g of carbs = 80 cals
    2g of fat = 18 cals

    Total of 218 cals

100g of lean meat (raw) has ~20g of protein

So it's either the calorie count or the protein count is wrong.

Mukhang more likely na mali yung protein count no?

Nakaka-miss ang lasa ah kaso I count my macros hassle lang sisirain lang ng pagka inaccurate nito.
