5X5 Workout Help Beginner

meron po kasi kaming ez curlbar and dumbell bars dito sa bahay and 100 lbs diff. sizes of plates,pull up bar and a wide space . yan lang po ang meron ako gusto ko po sana mag start ng 5x5 workout kaso yung mga nakikita ko po sa google ay puro may big equipments kaya maari niyo po ba ako gawan ng workout plan yung complete na po like M W F tas sa monday specific muscle ang target etc etc thanks poNapansin ko po kasing madalang lang may sumagot sa aking journal kaya dito na po ako nagtanong thanks

  • With the weights you got Dumbell Presses & OH Dumbell Presses lang ang magagawa mo.
    for SL5x5 you need Bars tlga. Specially for Deadlift which is (for me) the most important for beginners.
    because thats where u'l gain foundations. So I suggest go to the Gym.

    sir bibili po ako ng straight bar and try ko po yung sa strong lift na 5x5 is that good na ?
  • do you have squat/power rack? I think it'd be better kung bibili ka din ng power rack kung sa bahay mo lang balak mag WO.

    better mag workout sa gym with squat racks, bars and plates
    or else sayang lng pera mo bili ng mga bars at plate tapos hindi naman pala completo.
  • sa stronglifts, or any 5x5 program, ang importante yung compound lifts (SQUAT, DEADLIFT, BENCHPRESS) pag hindi mo sila ginawa at nag improvise ka, (okay na din atleast diba) pero iba pa din yung magawa mo yung tamang compound exercises, kasi dito lalabas yung lakas mo.


    para sakin, hindi ako gaano nagkakamuscle sa 5x5 kaya ginagawa ko lng ito 2-3mos then nag iiba ako ng program para mag build muscle. pero kakaibang lakas ang ibibigay sayo ng 5x5.

  • It means kung mag SL5x5 ka, kung 5'6" ka at 146lbs and you started lifting at 65lbs... more likely after 2-3 months asa 200lbs plus ka na with same weight mo 146lbs na stat. :blush:
