    Welcome here =)
Weight lifting pre di mo ginagawa? Or body weight lifting lang?
Pullups, pushups(varities), air squat, pistol, abs/core exercise(planks, crunches, hanging leg raise, wind shield)..
May bag pack ka? lagyan mo ng mabigat at isuot mo at mag pullups at push ups ka.. or air squats..
    Cardio? 100reps burpees..
Ano mabigat dyan sa inyo? buhatin mo.. =)

    thanks po ^_^
nagweight lifting din bro with dumbell and ez bar kaso limited yung plates ko. Exercises ko the usual push up, sit ups(minsan masakit sa likod pag sobra), minsan treadmill with body vest and sauna suit. 30- 1hr etc.

kakabili ko lang nito http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRmtAL-JGVEpNA6s6j5ZX6YTnYSfUirZRE7Pno9SfLFEIZ0JbGZAA kaso wala pa ako idea work out routine kaya research muna ako dito ^_^

ano bang goal mo ? physical fitness for martial arts (arnis) ?

    squat
    bench press
    overhead press
    dead lift

^ pwede kana makapag-build ng strong physique using those 3 exercises

ang goal ko is cutting talaga while gaining strength. i decided to get home gym equipment and etc para hawak ko oras ko. Yung arnis and boxing hobby ko siya (enjoy talaga when i practice specially when i hit the bag :P , lakas makabawas ng stress at sama ng loob).

i admit mas okay sa gym kaso time ang problem, kaya madalas ensayo pag gising pagtulog and buhat kapag may oras. Balak ko bilin susunod yung for leg raise saka for pull ups and pacustomize yung sa plates para madagdagan.

Home gym? Nah, that's way too impossible to gain strength at your home gym using db's? How you will gain strength if ain't squatin' heavy enough? Ain't deadlifting double your weight?

Even in gym where you pushin' yourself to the max and limit, I can say is a good stress reliever. I don't believe by this "May malalapit na gym kaso mas comfortable ako sa bahay." Come on brah, a one hour workout is only 4% of your day. NO EXCUSES and you are not lifting in the gym just to make some fun, pacute, it's a moron thinking if you see it as you were in a mall brah.

Better invest on power rack and oly bars and big ass plates brah just like what nrg500 suggested to you.

Sorry brah if it irks you and being sarcastic but weights not gonna lift themselves.

its alright bro its not really being sarcastic but i take more of as a honest opinion and suggestion from someone who has a lot of experience and knowledge and i know you said those things out of concern :sport: so no worries :)

honestly, i admit that you have a point :sport: and yes going to the gym is more beneficial but i dont see it as going to the mall :sport: . And yes I dont have any excuse not going to the gym. I simply bought those equipments so i can set up my own gym at home doing it anytime at free time plus other reasons :P.

Power cage rack is definitely on my list :lol
i already went to raon to check on the prices

    1. Stop over thinking too much stuffs, i know it's hard to do but play some boring music ( nature, nina, love songs ) .
    2. Lights are turn off pero may dim light ako sa gilid para nakaka relax pag pikit.
    3. Cellphones or tablets are all turned off para iwas fb browse etc dahil mabubusy ka instead na makatulog. Alarm clock lang nakabukas.
    4. Soft bath as in basain ko lang sarili ko na walang punas punas ( goodluck sa bedsheet hehe )
    5. Tubig 1 liter bago matulog.

That's it half an hour makakatulog na ko, basta I'll make sure my last meal was awesome!

Instead you are losing some fat , baka kakainin na nyan muscles mo or yet health hazard. Ikaw rin sir, katawan mo yan. Listen to your body.

I envy you since you have a space for a home gym.
    Frustration ko yan e.

But, if I may, bigyan kita ng unsolicited advise.
Benta mo na yung magnetic threadmill, pec dec flies at yung parang bike sa gilid.
Then bili ka ng power cage (yung may bar sa taas na pwede mag pull-ups), adjustable bench, plates from 50lbs, 30, 20, 10, 5 to 2.5, long bar at db bars.
    Or yung hobby mong boxing.
Hindi ko sinasabi yan ng walang basehan, I've experienced that for myself.

    That's just me though. :)

    Welcome to PBB

oh by the way hindi ako certified trainer experience lang din. tips lang mga to. there is this popular mantra na "IF EVERYONE'S DOING IT THEN IT MUST BE RIGHT" I'll say wrong, training mostly is an individualized approach, trial and error pakiramdaman kung anong tama sa katawan mo. just my take din. crrect me if am wrong.

yup tama bro. 150-160lbs target ko or till bumakat lahat ng abs kaya focus ako now sa diet cardio at weight lift. super iwas ako sa fatty foods specially sa lechon babs

Fats are still needed in diet for cutting, unless your not eating at maintenance level no or minimal strenght will be gain, it doesnt mean your eating steamed fish youll loose fat and weight, calories ang basehan jan, imho,

Thanks bro ^_^ ill take note of that
I usually widen the gap of my meal from 12hrs onwards and only eat few and no rice tapos centrum. Napansin ko lang when i drink whey tapos take creatine busog agad.

"Don't drink your food, eat it and let your body absorb it naturally" -Martin Berkhan , meaning mas awesome pa rin ang foods, bonus na lang talaga yung supps kung kulang talaga yung required protein mo.

In addition to sir dalton's post. We need fats especially for boosting our testosterone. Testosterone possesses protein anabolic properties, and is important in maintaining muscle mass and bone tissue in adult male. Just eat a good ratio of fats on your diet at makukuha mo rin gusto mo. Don't fear the fat, it is important as protein in our body sir.

Again sir reminders lang po, I've been to restricted caloric eating yes pumayat ako pero hindi nag max ang strength gain at physique actually hindi ko pa nga nakuha yung gusto kong itsura eh kesa ngayon kumakanin ako pero cycled sya.. atleast nakita ko na ng konti yung abs ko hehehe nung natuto ako about my diet style.

Sir pacoy's right, it'll be different on each individual just listen to your body sir. ( makapunta na nga ng clinic mamaya hehe )
