PowerLifting Or BodyBuilding?(change of path?)

grabe after wathcing the video ng GWO napa isip ako bigla.. na amaze ako sa mga powerlifters as in tapos napanuod kupa tong video


i want to learn more about powerlifting and there physique makes me crazy.. since dati kc tlga gnun yung gustu ko more on mass kesa sa muscle?? tama ba?? basta yung lobo n ktwan khit super mass may mga abs dahil sa compound lifts tama po ba?? nkaka takot lng ako sa video na yan grabe ang bibigat ng binubuhat tapos pag na aaksidente grabe katakot.. to all powerlifters here i salute you guys!! i want to have a POWER lifter physique someday khit wala ako plano mag compete.. need some help po,nanghihinayang din ako di ako nkasama sa GWO kahapon hinyang na hinyang ako sa mga lessons na pde ko matutunan =(

    lol, weak ako bro. Si sir milk nag DL ng 370lbs(plates pa lang) without even doing warmups tas galing pa sa chest workout un. Si jared din isa pang mamaw military press ng 100db's lol.

    La lang ako YT dito sa office post ko sana ung kay ronnie coleman na combination siya ng BB'er and PL.
  • oo sr napanuod ko yun halimaw nga sila..solid dun yung mga plates dun may gnun pala dto kc smin 50lbs lng yung pinaka malaki nkaka elibs e haha..nkita kung yung ke ronnie coleman.

    If you're really serious to venture into PL let me know. You can even be part of the Bosession Gym Powerlifting team.

    The National Open for Novice is in about 3 mos. Just enough for you to prepare and enter your first PL competition.

    Pwede naman kayo sumali basta seryosohin nyo lang. Kaso nga lang ibang iba ang programming compared sa ginagawa ng karamihan satin dito so dun lang siguro kayo mag a-adjust ng konti.

    May competition sa January 2013 National Open for Novice, everyone can join.
  • Nuod tayo sa YouTube, Power Unlimited para daw ma motivate tayo sa PL sabi ni sr Mighty oak..ako nuod ako now :-)karamihan ng mga powerlifters "parang" MATABA?? bat gnun di pde pound muscle?? or need tlga nila ng fats to lift heavy ass weights?? yung npapanuod ko naun during squats sa competition na dugo ilong yung iba nasuka ow em katakots!!

    bro parang stereotyping yung "fat PLs". hehe.

    Ive seen some PLs that has much better physique than other seasoned BBrs. One of my senior pinoy idols.. rene dio was doing PLs and BB during his prime. So why not do both... you get stronger and probably bigger by PL training.. plus incorporating some BB training program now and then, you can build a large and defined physique.

    its only you that can control the turn-out of your physique.. large amount of macros are needed but should be timed perfectly.

    ^kung wala naman siguro masyadong concern sa turn-out nang katawan at power & strength lang talaga ang focus.. hindi naman siguro ganun ka complicated... now kung gusto nang medyo may konting definition while in the process of gaining P&S and lean mass, baka dun magkaroon nang concern sa food intake...

    im not a PL and never experience training as a PL so i have no idea on what their meals are like.. i trained for powerbench before and medyo tumaas yung macros ko nun while tine-train kami as what our coach advised.

    Im sure Owen can give his expert thoughts in this thread

    yes sr!!! nag babasa basa na din ako nag enjoy lng siguro ako kc halos lahat ng video sa you tube nakikita ko medyo mataba tlga sila tapos nabasa ku to "The diet of powerlifting will require lots of calories because the more calories your consume, the more strength will be accompanied by the weight. Protein is the name of the game and lots of it will aid you very well in competition." kya ngayon medyo naliwanagan na ako.. nag susunog na ako ng kilay naun sa pag research ng program.. trial and error tlga hopefully mahanap ko ang tamang formula para skin..plan kuna din sa OG mag train inaayos ku lng yun sked ko hehe medyo malayo layo din kc.. salamat po sr!!

  • Gusto ko rin maging PL na maganda physique. Huhu. Pagtapos ko magaral i'll chase after this dream. For now tuloy ko muna magpalakas. Hehe.
