What do you mean when they say 'greater' depth of field/'lower' depth of field?
[size=x-small](Pasensya na at hindi ako pamilyar pagdating sa DSLR terms)...[/size]
Aperture - eto ung nagco-control ng light entering the mirror/sensor ng camera. Since most mobile phones have set a single aperture, di mo masyado mapapaglaruan to. Sayang talent mo you should buy one when you get a job na.
pag shallow depth of field(pag sa DSLR eh lower number ng aperture) pag nag focus ka sa subject mo almost everything na hindi nya ka level will be blurred.
Pag longer naman or higher number ng aperture, everything will be in focus.
Sample shots ko:
So etong shot ko, with high aperture/longer depth of field everything is in focus kahit iba iba sila ng distance from each other.
tas eto naman shallow depth of field/lower aperture. Blurred ung background but the subject is in focus.
basta madaming factors like, distance mo from your subject, distance ng subject sa back/foreground etc. at usually may times na dapat sila gamitin, pero minsan you must break the rules din.

Sir @BANE, maganda naman ang review ng mga kaibigan ko kahit pano sa SJ cam, yung cam na sinuggest ni Sir @Kenzy.
Di ako bihasa sa cameras pero personally eto ang mga preferences sa specs kung bibili ako ng action cam:
1. Video quality - Maganda kung 1080p 60fps (para malinaw at smooth ang video, although lakas kumain ng memory) 4K video capability parang di pa practical sa ngayon, need mo pa kasi ng 4K TV or monitor para makita mo talaga yung 4K quality at malupit na computer para magrender ng 4k videos kung mag eedit ka. Ibig sabihin magastos. XD
2. Waterproofing - Para pwedeng magvideo sa shower. hehe..Di, syempre kung mahilig ka sa beach, surfing, etc. napakahalaga ng waterproofing.
3. Battery life - mas matagal battery life, siyempre mas mahabang videohan ang magaganap. hehe
4. Wifi capabilities - Para nacocontrol mo via smartphone yung action cam mo, laking tulong nito kung naka tripod yung action cam para makikita mo yung framing mo bago magtake ng picture or vid.
5. Accessories - mas maraming available na accessories, mas maganda kung gagamitin mo sa mga iba-ibang bagay (ex. bike mount, etc) pero not sure kung compatible naman ang mga ibang mounts like sa go pro, xiaomi, sjcam, etc.
SJCAM user ako, okay naman video quality, may free waterproof casing sya, ilan beses ko na nagamit sa ilalim ng dagat and pool. Battery life, medyo hindi ganon katagal, kung continuous video, mga 2-3hours lang, pero bumili nako ng extra batt and may free powerbank kaya okay na din. Pede mo sya controllin sa phone after mo DL ng application sa google play.
good reveiw paps @poruchiko pwede kna mag marketing nila haha. pero ano specific model ng SJ cam? calling @kenzy as well
may officemate ako ng naka SJCAM 5000 wifi, pinakita nya saken tong link nato para maging basis namin kung alin model mas maganda video quality, ayon sj5000 wifi napili ko.
