  • media publicity is a mind game after all, so it is to be expected since mayweather is no ordinary dude after all, he may be violent against women (hehe) but he knows how to play his cards right when needed.

Back on the fight, not exactly a pacman fan for a long time now, but yesterday was the first time in ages i've seen so "out of condition" i must say. while i was watching yesterday to me he seemed to have a lot of opening while he was attacking JMM yesterday (well apart from the "tapak" part during KO round).
  • Mighty_OakMighty_Oak Posts: 3,940
^Yes, during the weigh in he was heavier than JMM but not more muscular. This was the case in his 3 previous fights including this one.

Makes me think if he's really into PED's before nag bagong buhay na lang simula nung maging "religious".

Tsk!

^there were reports that pac was downplaying the importance of strength and conditioning in his training, which would not surprise me at all since Alex Ariza gave a hint when he stated something about Marquez's ripped body is due to him listening to his s & c coach. and to think Roach wants Ariza out of their camp.

been a Pac fan for ages. does not change the fact though na busted up na mukha ni Marquez, round 5 palang, and his nose being broken that early in the fight wouldn't bode for him too well if the fight got into the later rounds. sobrang bilis kasi ni Pacquiao, half-way palang suntok ni Marquez, sinalubong na niya. haha.

  • well i'm not saying JMM is not skilled, in fact i think whatever he did worked out well forhim (pati ang tapak dahil di nakita ng referee hehehe). saka epic kasi yung parehong knockdown ni pac kasi hindi pasuray-suray ung effect. ung una, talagang bagsak sya on his back, then the second flat face down.

Gaya ng sabi ko sa previous post ko dito, JMM went for broke and focused on getting bigger and stronger since alam nya na hindi nya ma KO si Pac if he'll be the same old JMM. KO was his only option to win since if this will go to the judges hands, with his counter punching style, eh malamang the decision will be given to Pac again.

That's why he prepared for almost 5 mos for this and it paid off. Hardwork beats talent sabi nga.

All that Pac needs to do is to go back to basics. Work on his strength and conditioning and completely focus during the training.

exactly what i posted in fb after the fight. hardwork > talent, all day, errday. haha. :squat:

    JMM - 4months training
    Pacman - 8weeks.

Kung di nya pinasok ang pulitika at showbiz he's still at the top of his game until now and nobody can beat him.

Tae kasi masyadong uto-uto nakuha pa mag artista kala siguro ang pogi nya! hahaha
  • well kahit saan naman hardworkers will eventually surpass the talented hehehe. actually tama sinabi mo master mighty pac needs to go back to training seriously. not exactly hating on pac ngayun kasi parang ang natira na lang sa kanya is ung "talent" nya and compyansa sa sarili (w/c was probably shaken yesterday too). so he needs to put more hardwork like he used to yun naman talaga naging key to success nya sa boxing. masyado kasing naging busy sa maraming bagay and sa pagiging "sikat".

in relation to the "religion" part of pac and w/ all due respectna rin. sinabi ito ng isang kausap ko kahapon "natalo kasi si pac kasi masyadong naging religious" hahaha. and now some of the flips are blaming his religion :P
  • Mighty_OakMighty_Oak Posts: 3,940
^LOL on the religion and rosary issue! Pati ba naman ya ibabalita pa??? Wala talagang kwenta news casting dito satin.

He just needs to get back to his old self. Yun lang.

Oh and ibalik nya yung dati nyang entrance song "Para sayo, ang laban na to..." hahahaha
  • dapat lng tlaga e magretiro n sya... yun lng yun! wala na naman kelangan patunayan e! dahil napatunayan nya n lahat sa boxing. :sport:
  • Mighty_OakMighty_Oak Posts: 3,940
Well pwede din naman then focus na lang on politics or in his religion. Kaso from what I saw last Sunday eh kayang kaya pa naman nya. Partida nga kasi di pa sya ganun ka kondisyon and maiksi lang training nya.

Pwede pa sya siguro for at least 4 more fights then retire as a champ para maganda naman ang last chapter ng boxing career nya.

He got beaten and KO'd teice before and he was able to bounce back as a more stronger fighter, yun nga lang time is not on his side right now.

malalaman natin yan s mga darating na araw... abangan sa balita. ehehe..oo mhirap talaga magdesisyon. pero sa tingin ko wala nlng sa kanila yun pera if need nila magbayad para makapagretiro na sya... sa yaman ni pacman e chcken nlng sa knya yun if ilang milyon man yun! ehehe... at sa pagay ko e mananalo prin sya sa up coming election... :yahoo:

  • no questions asked about skills, he's got the goods alright, it's just the attitude that i kinda don't like. while he has every right to be "maangas" but still i don't buy it hehehe.

  • Mighty_OakMighty_Oak Posts: 3,940
Donaire is the champ. Ako naman ayoko kay Villoria banderang kapos kasi and has no defense.
  • hahaha, un lang half-half kasi si villoria, half din ba si donaire or laking tate lang talaga? in fairness may itsura misis nun ni donaire
  • Mighty_OakMighty_Oak Posts: 3,940
Donaire just lacks the charisma that Pac has and maybe because he grew up in the US that's why he got 'em swagger but definitely he's an awesome fighter especially after leaving his Dad to train with Garcia.

Laking tate lang yan, I saw him before sa Marketplace together with his hottie wife (would smash) dun sya nag train sa gym ni Peñalosa.
  • dekada na naman ang hihintayin natin o mas mahaba pa para makahanap ng gaya ni pac. i dont know if you guys remember rolando navarette mga early 80's ba yon or late 70's di pa ata pinanganganak halos lahat sa inyo dito kala namin magtatagal kasi malakas din yon parang tyson style pero ginago niya sarili niya nalasing sa tagumpay.
