Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) supplement

Has anyone already tried this and may I know if it is effective for fat loss? Already bought PVL brand 180 softgels CLA and already taking 3softgels a day since 2 days ago. I just notice this unusual burp taste, anyway I wonder if it is effective.

  • So far, parang wa epek sa kin to. Dapat iba n lng binili ko. Sama pa kc may after taste pagburp.
  • I've tried CLA before. Muscle Pharm yung brand. Worked great sa stomach ko mas nawala yung parang bloat, pero it took a month bago makita yung effects. Para sa utol ko after 6 days ramdam niya agad kaya feel ko hiyangan lang to sa mga tao tao

    I tried CLA before.....i took my CLA with my fat loss supplement long time ago....
    I find that CLA helps u to digest the food better.....thats why u get the burps......i also had the burps when i was doing CLA.....
  • yung sa kin di ko pa rin nauubos, 3grams ako per day. Kaso nakakalimutan ko madalas uminom. Kaya di ko siguro makita effect nito.

    Supplement lang po yan kunbaga pandagdag, pang asssist , pantulong hindi siya Magic Pill na pag take mo mag lalabasan na mga abs mo same din sa ibang supplements like whey o ano mang vitamins.

    still it all boils down to your diet...
  • I'm well aware of that so I'll just rephrase na lang my question: as an extra kick for fat loss purposes, does it really work or better yet would you recommend someone to use it?

    Like with flax seed oil (another fat loss aid), many prefer fish oil kasi it directly provides EPA/DHA unlike with flax seed na it has to convert it pa but in small numbers.

  • Ei mga sir, sa akin wala naman significant effect to. I don't know if dahil di ko lang talaga nasunod yung pag inom or talagang wala lang talaga effect sa akin. Hirap kasi sama ng lasa pagnagburp kaya pagnasa mood lang tiyan ko ako umiinom baka kasi masuka ako. Kaya palabasin ang abs? kaya siguro with proper diet pa rin like @boss_j said. But para sa akin di ko mairerecommend to Sir Pax, try mo na lang other supp, nagsisi nga ako ibang supp na lang sana. Cardio cardio na lang ako para mabawasan taba sa tyan.

    ako kasi kailangan ko mabawasan ng konti yung tummy medyo malaki na kasi bulking ako.

    i don't think fish oil is effective for fat loss, there are other much effective supps when we're talking about weight & fat loss. but fish oil is good for health to lower LDL or the bad cholesterol, fish oil provides HDL, the good cholesterol which in turn lowers saturated fats, transfats.

    Fish oils are extracted from fatty fishes & are good souces of Omega3, EPA, DHA, some may pose dangers because it may have mercury, check the label for 'mercury free' and if the manufacturers can be trusted. Flaxseed oils are alternative sources of omega 3's 6's & 9's & prefered by vegans & for cancer patients, & without the risk of mercuries & other heavy metals, flaxseeds only has ALA and our body must convert it to DHA & EPA. and basically we get the same many benefits like what we get from fish oils. But Fish oil among all FA's are of the highest priority as far as Omega 3's DHA are concerned. Flax if i will rate is 2nd. CLA found on red meats being of the least value imo, unless you're hypothyroid you may benefit with CLA.

    If I may recommend supp to pop out abs & some definition, on my top list is L-carnitine.
    For stronger bones & teeth mineralization I recommend Cod liver oil.
    Exercise and moving by far is the best way for fat loss.
