Last post ng q&a thread. Yung point about sa GI ng foods. I have read somewhere na wala daw basehan na gumagana ito. Dont get me wrong guys. Just curious po. And a little confused :)

are you pertaining to my reply to allen about choosing a low to medium gi to be taken before bedtime? if so, it is up to you if you think it is BS. i would not recommend or suggest anything in this forum if IT DID NOT WORK, IF IT DID DAMAGE or IF THERE IS NO ACTUAL EXPERIENCE on what i am saying.

I have been in close ties with nutritionists, sports specialist, intl competitive bbrs, etc etc because of my job nature itself, i have to try each practice that has been recommended...

going back to the GI thing.. i give some GI specifics on food/s that seen progress - development - worked wonders for my clients whom are either on a weightloss, clean bulking or maintenance.

Sir Milks was spot on with his answer. There are a lot of know-it-alls in the world of fitness and there would always be contradictions versus scientific research. We cannot avoid these people, its just a matter of -- like what the thread title says --- watch who you listen to

its like someone with a very very fat physique, giving you pointers on how to diet...

if that so, dun ka nalang sa mataba di ba? since may pag babago.
  • XbrainXgainXbrainXgain Posts: 818

^^ ganyan din ako nung nag simula, though nung panahon ko, hindi ganun ka rampant ang mga BS at hindi pa ganun kadami ung mga research, scientifically backed-up research, etc... to be honest, these BS has given me some added information, not based sa recom nila, but sa pag research deeply sa mga recom nila... and thats still happening up to now.

my take.. everything in this BB world is contradicting... everything boils down to trial and error in finding that right program or combination of programs, nutrition, supplementation and even aas.

Tama sir, napakadami na ngayong sources na di mo alam kung tama, sabi nga sa max-ot napakadaming BS talaga ngayon dahil kadalasan ng media eh sponsored or backed up by the supplement companies themselves.

Si sir braso pa parang si dr. Frankenstein andaming nyang lab rats! heheheheheheh.

Eto pala mga sir. Recently ko lang narinig "drinking water before meals reduces calrories absorbed by the body".
  • rotrot78rotrot78 Posts: 1,147
it may or it may not.. depende talaga sa katawan natin yan.. lahat naman depende sa katawan yan kahit sa sakit pwedeng gumana sayo or pwedeng hindi. ganon din sa bodybuilding program yan pwedeng gumana sayo pwedeng hindi.. kahit anong sabihin nila sa BS i dont fuckin care.. nasa katawan yan kung mag respond sa system mo. ikaw nakakaalam ng katawan mo kaya kung ano sabihin nila wag ka kaagad maniwala hanggang itry mo sa sarili mo as simply as that.

Eto pala mga sir. Recently ko lang narinig "drinking water before meals may help you reduce your food intake since you'll feel full prior to eating".

    Fixed.

Recently ko lang narinig "drinking water before meals reduces calrories absorbed by the body".

read an article about this.. which was written by a liquid diet practitioner.. dont know if there's truth to it... kase wala siyang sufficient studies about it.. or to back up his claims

alam natin that water has tons of benefits in our system but afaik, whatever we get from foods or drinks, its calories are absorbed, distributed, used as energy (burned) and stored.. about reducing calorie absorption, im interested to know more about its existence and further studies.

i do agree with the Fixed of Sir Mighty

ang pagkakaalam ko din, drinking water before meals will aid in digestion. but at some point drinking too much water before meals will lengthen or reduce digestion due to hydrochloric acid neutralization.

    "#broscience"
  • Wow "isang linggong chest" kaya siguro hindi na siya nagbubuhat dahil naijured siya or walang gain or tinamad na :)
