And please...if your using google on your research and not executing it in actual..stop it..
We can use google as well..but we rather consult it with the members who are capable of explaining it in a way acceptable to all..

Am sorry ha, personally kasi parang debate lang gusto mo just to prove na madami kang alam..kaya hinay hinay lang Sam Ong..Your credibility is at stake kahit madami ka pang alam..

I understand. I will stop giving suggestions.

I apologize kung mayabang dating ko.
  • @sam oks buti mabilis din nakapag stabilize katawan mo sa ketosis keep it up lang sa diet if you really wanna lose weight though my 2 cents as a fellow keto dieter like you, monitor mo lang maigi macros kasi the diet you have chosen is not as simple as it looks, guilty ako dito dito coz i thought it was, kaya everything got ugly at one point so i had to start from square one. though wag din po magmadali kasi nde po miracle diet yung keto find contentment sa "small changes" na nangyayari sa body composition mo.

if i would count siguro pang 8th week ko na to, a week and a half nung unang week nakapag stabilize na yung katawan ko sa ketosis then i went on carb-up so mga 6th or 7th re-feed ko na toh. wag ka mabahala dun sa pagbigat mo ulit weight after carb up, water weight lang yun ang refilled glycogen bababa ulit yun by the week. focus more dun sa nakikita mo sa salamin, train your eyes to see the minor differences sa katawan mo. hehehe

"To better understand the effects of a CKD on exercise performance, we have to look briefly at how different forms of exercise affect fuel utilization in the body. There are four potential fuels which the body can use during exercise: glycogen, fat, protein and ketones. Except under certain conditions (which will be mentioned when necessary), protein and ketones do not provide a significant amount of energy during exercise. Therefore this discussion will focus primarily on glycogen and fat use during exercise. To simplify this article, exercise will be delineated as either aerobic or anaerobic (which will include interval training and weight training).

    Aerobic Exercise
Aerobic exercise is generally defined as any activity which can be sustained continuously for periods of at least three minutes or longer. Examples would be walking, jogging, cycling, swimming, aerobics classes, etc.
The primary fuels during aerobic exercise are carbohydrate (muscle glycogen and blood glucose) and fat (from adipose tissue as well as intramuscular triglyceride) (1,2). At low intensities, fat is the primary fuel source during exercise.
As exercise intensity increases, less fat and more glycogen is used as fuel. At some intensity, sometimes called the “Crossover point”, glycogen becomes the primary fuel during exercise. (3) This point corresponds roughly with something called the lactate threshold. The increase in glycogen utilization at higher intensities is related to a number of factors including greater adrenaline release (3,4) decreased availability of free fatty acids (5), and greater recruitment of Type II muscle fibers (3,6,8). The ketogenic diet shifts the crossover (i.e. lactate threshold) point to higher training intensities (3) as does regular endurance training (4)."

you answered your own question sir :)

if you misunderstood again your own post

the writer explained there on the first five sentences on the Aerobic Exercise article the normal function of the body, (which means that he/she is explaining the usual Human Function without ketogenic diet. And as you can see (the thing i highlighted or the bold letters) he explained that ketogenic diet alters that normal function.

as i explained earlier in ketogenic diet bida si ketones at supporting actor na si glycogen. The Diet itself Shifts your bodies regular routine. Even on HIGHER TRAINING INTENSITIES.

i just quoted your post sir. sayo na din nanggaling

if you still don't understand it, eh wala na kong magagawa, i tried my best to explain it. kung sa bagay sabi nga nila kung effective sayo ung ginagawa mo eh di gawin mo lang :)

anyway, goodluck sa goals! and stay motivated!and i even read the link you gave. you should read it too. at icompare mo sa goals mo at sa exercise mo po.
kasi sir sabi mo to Failure ang exercise mo. which means INTENSE din ang workout mo.

You missed my point. You stated that ketones and glucose both produce ATP and when in keto you stated that the intensity of the workout does not matter right?

This is to show that different intensities use different sources.@MeAlready

    To All:

Hope this will be the end of the discussion on this concern..
Baka ma mislead na yung ibang members dahil sa sandamukal na JARGONS..

If you want a solid reference on this diet, please consult members who've been doing this for a long time such as LASTRESORT(Pasimuno ng keto dito..ahaha) DS(Naimpluwensyahan ni Last..ahaha)..AKO(hindi tumagal sa meal plan..ahahaha)..

SAM ONG, you may ask them questions but please refrain from contradicting them just to prove your claims based on research..kasi kung ganun rin lang, wag ka na lang magtatanung..you remind us of someone which leads me to a decision to keep on monitoring you and your journal..

Enjoy your diet and keep motivated.

    Thank you.

    @donbuh

Allow me to clear you up on this. They are giving me advice and I accept it if it is valid. If I disagree with the suggestion then we will discuss or debate on the matter.

If you look at my posts then you will see that I try to not to insult them. I don't ask questions to contradict people. I ask questions to educate myself and learn more about the matter. It is really hard for me when I try to discuss on a matter pero nangiinsult ung kausap mo pero I still reply and try to act mature about it.

I am only giving them advice on what I researched on. If they disagree then we are free to debate about it.

It seems that mahirap tumanggap ng advice galing sa isang hindi macho kaya hindi nlng ako magbibigay advice pero pag sila na ang lumapit saaken edi I will try to discuss about it.

I am not contradicting people because I want to look smart. I am discussing and trying to learn.

Forums is suppose to be a place of discussion.
