good day gents
i decided to post a journal para makakuha ng inputs regarding my plans to cut down on fat.
i used to weigh 220lb before then went into strict diet then biking and running and my weight dropped to 170lb. after a couple of years, i gained 10lbs since im unable to do the stuff i used to do after i moved to HK to work.
now, i have decided that's it's time i take action and i was highly motivated by the other guys who posted their own journals. i'll try to find time to post a recent pic for reference.
below is the program i have selected and im planning to do the first day tonight.

i chose it since i think it's more focused on cardio which can help me achieve my goal of losing fat.
Supps im taking were L Carnitine and Met Rx Meal Replacement.
Misleading tong Met Rx, sa harap ng packaging nakalagay Meal Replacement tapos sa fine print, sabi do not use as meal substitute.
Ginamit ko na lang as protein source after workout.
Comments, good or bad are most welcome.

Btw, i chose L Carnitine kasi walang available na Green Tea sa mga shops here in HK. also, i chose the cap form kasi i tried the liquid form before and parang masyadong acidic so may pain sa stomach ko. forgot the brand of the liquid one, parang Scitex or something.

morning:
1 L Carnitine cap sa bahay.
half a cup of instant oatmeal with 2 espresso shots on the side pagdating sa office
lunch: usually fish fillet, or sirloin steak (6oz) or chicken fingers for meat then 2 baby potatoes and quarter bell pepper. grilled lahat
afternoon: 1 L Carnitine cap ulit
post workout: Met Rx meal replacement
dinner: same as my lunch
pansin ko lang ang lakas maka suppress ng L Carnitine. dito sa office ko halos lahat may kinakain once in a while, from chips to biscuits and before taking L Carni, kasabay nila ako kumain. ngayon, lumilipas na yung araw, parang di pa rin ako gutom.
is this good or bad? kasi deficit sana target ko for now para mabawasan ng konti ang taba taba ko

did the day 1 in my program. medyo hindi ko lang nasunod strictly yung cardio acceleration part in between sets. hindi kasi ako comfortable ng walang stretch in between so i decided to hit the threadmill na lang after. had my post workout drink then dinner.
will do day 2 today and sana i can keep this up.

i compensated na lang with cardio on the bike after the workout.
deficit pa rin sa food intake except last night. may event sa office so wasnt able to help myself with jap buffet which happened to be my fav
last pack ko na rin for today ng Met-Rx so will shift to ON GS by tomorrow.
still thinking kasi sayang yung protein difference. 39g sa Met Rx tapos 24 sa ON.
kakahinayang lang kasi nabili ko na tong ON last year and hindi nagamit kasi hindi natuloy ang program ko.

medyo ginanahan lang sa shift kasi i bought a George Foreman grill.
3 yrs nako dito sa HK and I never cooked my own food. puro sa labas ang kain.
kaya when i decided to be serious in a program, i bought the easiest option which for me is the Foreman grill
nag eenjoy na nga ako sa supermarkets ngayon.
nawiwili na sa kakatingin ng pwedeng ulamin.
marami rin akong natutuhan kakabasa dito lalo na yung sa food intake.
medyo natingin nako sa nutri info ngayon unlike dati kain lang ng kain ng walang pinipili.
panalo pa naman yung mga Groupon deals ng buffet dito sa HK.

concern ko talaga ngayon is yung strength.
sobrang baba ng mga binubuhat ko. nauuna pang tamaan yung joints ko kesa body part mismo.
like kanina while doing preacher curls, mas masakit yung joints sa elbows kesa biceps mismo.
feeling ko naman tama ang form kasi nasa preacher nako kaso liliit pa rin ng plates na nailalagay ko.
sana balang araw e madagdagan.
tanong pala since hirap nga ako sa heavy weights.
may added benefits ba ang more reps pero lighter weights? or dapat talaga working weight talaga?

tried ON this morning and felt bad.
since matigas ulo ko, tried it again 10 mins ago and parang kumapal ang mukha ko.
semi hilo and slight headache.
wont drink this stuff again.
sayang, sobrang ganda pa naman ng solubility nito.
walang chunks.
wala akong allergy sa kahit anong pagkain.
ngayon ko rin lang naramdaman tong kumapal ng literal ang mukha ko.

regarding the program naman, i chose this kasi gusto kong mapilitan na mag gym.

i enrolled sa gym malapit sa office, went once and then didnt go back after more than a year.
salamat sa payo regarding form. medyo nahihirapan ako lalo na sa compound lifts kasi first time and now im quite happy kasi yung pagpunta na sa gym ang hinahanapan ko ng excuse.
ie today, 10a - 7p ang work ko. as always, di ako nagising ng maaga and late pumasok sa work. so ill just go to the gym mamayang lunch break. regarding food, i prep my food for the next day when i cook dinner at home para no excuses to eat unhealthy food.
dito pa naman sa HK, pag local ang kasabay ko mag lunch, puro dim sum lagi so since may baon ako, nakakaiwas sa medyo oily food.

bro, may sample ka ba nung basic training? para ito naman isusunod ko after nitong 6 weeks ko.
last q, kung cutting ang goal ko, makakatulong ba kahit hindi deficit ang food intake?
or mas beneficial kung deficit tapos may protein supp?

Basta warm-up ka lang bago mag simula especially kung compund lifts ung tititrahin mo 2 WU then 3 WS yung reps naman depende sayo at sa bigat basta make sure na minimum 6 reps or above kung mabigat sayo ung poundages at syempre in good form
post ka ng recent picture mo pangyao para makita ng mga master dito kung ano pa pede nila maibigay at maitulong na payo sayo

back to the gym na ulit last night and will continue to stick to my program.
di na ulit ako nakapag weigh kasi puro kain ako last week.
next week na lang ako mag che check kung may progress.
had the guts to check the scales last night and im quite happy since i lost 10 lbs since i started. this got me more motivated to keep on going.

try ko next time yang ON Hydrowhey after nitong MP Combat. Parang saglit lang tong 4lb tub ko. medyo masarap kasi and highly soluble so hindi nakakatamad magalog ng shaker
medyo focus pala ako ng konti sa cardio these days. at least 5km per day since I wanted to try HIIT.
parang eto problema ko ngayon, andami kong gustong subukang gawin sa gym pero konti lang ng time. next week uwi ako for a few days, tigil na naman diet ko for sure. bawi na lang sa takbo every evening.
