Hi!
Since I'm a stranger and you guys probably wouldn't give a hoot (maybe you will, but who cares we don't know each other), I'm here to say that originally I was a gym-hating Skeletor freak. I had a really good friend (Torpe mode engaged by default) but I sort of lost her to another manliligaw. I was doing okay with Ragnarok Online but my friends got overly dramatic with it so I decided to retire. With nothing to do and butt-hurt from what happened with my not-so-much of a love life, I decided to start eating and lifting. For a few months I played around with my dad's old dumbbells. Last year I weighed around a hundred pounds, no joke. Here's a pic for you to thin shame:

I started gymming for real since October 2013. I'm currently at 126-130 lbs. Still quite underweight for my height, and pretty DYEL looking, but whatever. I've never looked this good since God-knows-when. My only regret was not starting this shit earlier. I even cracked jokes that went like "I'm not going inside a gym, heavens no. That's like asking a devil to enter a basilica." Screw it. I should have gymmed earlier.
Originally, I figured I'd try to lift cause I'm bored, and It would look good. Now I lift because it feels good. Whenever I miss an opportunity to go to the gym I sort of die inside a bit (Now that's overstating it - but you do get the point).
Call me Zanni. I'm here because a friend asked me to join. I'd normally lurk 4chan's /fit/ forums.

Anime? Not purely, I guess. I'm a Fine Arts graduate and I've made a career out of drawing/painting/graphics. I'm a frustrated game concept artist.

With piano pieces, I usually go for game soundtracks from random Final Fantasy games. Sometimes, I'd let my sister choose which pieces I'd play so that she can sing while I hit some notes.
Puzzles like Sudoku and crossword, mind games and similar stuff.
I was a bit of a shut-in. I never really had a lot of friends. Reference books included, I've more books read than people befriended. Kinda sad really.

By veteran, do you mean that you still play, sir? What server are/were you in? Job class?
Thanks for the directions, I actually was reading someone's personal journal yesterday and I think I'm a bit more enlightened about nutrition and whatnot. This site's pretty awesome. I'll come up with my own journal eventually, perhaps. I'm only a few months into lifting and regretfully I think I haven't been eating enough.

Used to play back then, almost a decade ago, during elementary days. During it's first years release here in the Philippines when it will cost you to pay at least P50 for 8hrs of play prepaid cards. Then few years upon release they made those P10/P20 prepaid cards for those who can't afford to pay big cash. I think it costs me around 1K for the prepaid game cards alone.
