Century Tuna Nutritional Facts

Matagal na pong kasama sa diet ko ang Century tuna na flat can na easy open, solid in vegetable oil. Ang nakalagay po dito na nutrition fact is 9g/serving tapos ang servings per container po niya is 3. so 9x3= 27g of protein. kaya mag 2 years na akong may 1 can of tuna per day.
Kaso recently, nagbasa ako ng Nutritional fact ng iba nilang lata, binasa ko yung "chunks in spanish style" at iba pang "chunks" which has obviously less tuna content kasi pirapiraso yun and puro filler na oil and flavor add ons.
Napansin ko while reading na lahat sila ang nakalagay na protein is same as dun sa solid in vegetable oil (which has significantly more tuna meat)

ibig sabihin po ba nito ay false ang kanilang posting ng nutritional facts/contents?
at matagal ko narin pong iniisip, may side effects ba ang tuna from can compared to the natural tuna from wet market?

@cguro meron side effects ang century tuna kasi dumaan siya sa process and for me mas ok ang tuna na binili bili sa wet maket kc mas affordable,makaka tawad kapa and madali lng din naman gawin ang fish in oil katulad ng century tuna bro.
out of all the canned tuna products sa market ngaun.. Century Tuna pinaka pure, legit na healthy tlga and good for diets tlga to, sulit ung protein.. ung iba kasi daming Vegetable Protein na nilalagay haha, kya mura.
and although processed ang century.. sterilization lng po ginamit dyan.. unlike ung mga corned beef, sausage, hotdog, meatloaf etc... very bad.. hehe
Another note.. ung nutrition facts bawal dayain pre.. makakasuhan ka nyan pag false labeling.. may batas nyan.
E yung sandamakmak na sodium hindi masama?
Ano ba yan food technologist ka na currently or food tech student?

Basically pag canned fish especially pag natural oil lng like sardines and tuna ang process nyan ganito
Fish(uncooked, so fresh tlga pinagmulan) + broth(oil, water+ flavoring + spices , sodium included) then sterilize sa can, tapos na..
I suggest kung gusto nyo bumili ng canned fish na tlgang healthy, ung natural oil lng or ung tomato.. and hindi sanda makmak na sodium nilalagay dun haha.. konti lng.. para naman may lasa kahit papano..
Basahin nyo nalang ingredients and nutrition facts carefully para sigurado.. wag lng bile ng bile..
basta lahat ng mga processed foods except ung canned fish(tuna,sardines etc) may mga nitrites un lahat.. Ang nitrites ay proven to be carcinogenic just saying..

Alam mo ba kung ilan ang sodium nun kada lata?
Kada lata ahh.. not just per the recommended serving.
At hindi lang pampalasa ang purpose ng paglagay nila ng sodium, it also acts as "natural" preservative. Kaya pwede nilang sabihing "preservative free"
Sa isang 185g na lata halos isang kutsarang asin. Konti pa ba yun?
natitikman ko regularly yung burger ng zarks. Lasang legit. By taste feeling ko napaka kunti ng extenders nila. Baka sibuyas at breadcrumbs nga lang. Galing nung place na yun. Hahahaha.
ako before kase 2x week ako nag zazarks, wed at sunday, lol masarap kung masarap, naisip ko baka ikamatay ko na eh lol!

Teka kain ako dalawang lata... walang wala ako mapiling pagkain kundi yun... hahaha power hug ko na lang yung sodium na yun amf
