Dumbbell Workout Routines

  • Magandang umaga sa inyo mga Sir..Pasenxa na at nakapa cause ako ng debate sa thread ko, what a shame on my side.

I understand all your points given, actually these are all positive once and these are all accepted and I'll re-draw my routines, and my huge thanks to all of you guys. Hopefully peaceful lang po tayo lahat kase Healthy living lahat goal natin, and we have our own ways to get to that goal, so d maganda tingnan if we are not on that same page.

Anyway, ang pinakapunto ko sa ngayun is to lower my Blood sugars, kase me lahi din kami na diabetic, and second is new lang ako sa world na to and I came up with those routines here in the internet and ngayun lang ako naka join sa forum na to so I took the liberty to ask the experienced guys for advises on what I'm currently doing, honestly I felt correct with I'm doing kase meron naman ako nakikitang changes sa body ko from the start:

Blood Sugar ko from 283 naging 169.
Weight to from 72kg to 67kg
Waist ko from 36 to 33.
Yung arms ko me shape na xa konti (medjo happy na din konte kase now lang ako nagkaganito in ages, just fooling around)

And sa creatine ko at protein ko, eto purpose ko, and I got these from reviews and forums sa net, yung creatine ko is for added energy and muscle recovery, kase honestly d ko kaya yung 10LB dati sa triceps extension then nung nag start ako mag creatine, kinakaya ko na yung 20LB, pero yun nga sabi nyo parang useless na yung creatine ko sa weight ng materials ko, so ubusin ko nalang to sayang naman, then yung Protein ko, pang replace sa muscle tissues na "nasira" from my dumbbell routines, nabasa ko lang po kase sa net na kahit 10-20lbs lang gamit sa pag lift, it also can "destroy" some of the muscle tissues that's why we need to replace it, and yes, pede naman yung food rich in protein, pero these are high in calorie, and nag cocontrol din ako sa calorie ko dahil nga sa high blood sugar.

Maybe may nagtatanong na "Bat d ka magmemedicate nalang to lower your blood sugar?". D ko gusto mag depend sa medicines muna if kaya naman with these light excercises,

your journey is a tough one to be honest. kasi one wrong move sayo could lead to the worst results. my advice sayo is take each advice like a grain of salt and find out what works for you better, about your blood sugar levels, i may not be a diabetic or someone that has high blood sugars but i'm pretty sure that your diet will play a big part on that, eat too much then it will go up w/c kinda goes against the principle of being on caloric surplus in order to build lean muscle like i've said find out what will work for you kung sa tingin mo na too much food shoots up your blood sugar levels then trim down a bit pag kaya naman na damihan ng onti ang intake ng pagkain w/out compromising your BS levels might as well go for it para mamaximize mo ang muscle growth sa katawan mo.

About sa routine mo, i would have to say 10lbs and 20lbs of dumbells can only take far enough kung ang goal mo ay "magkalaman" ng onti, nothing wrong w/ that goal. i'm not gonna tell you na bigger guys are healthier than smaller guys coz honestly for me being healthy is really a matter of being able to function/move freely in your daily living w/out gasping for air by just doing something and a matter of feeling "better within".

Now back to my point, remember the reason why nagkakaroon ng muscles ang katawan natin is because "defense mechanism" yun ng katawan natin against the tension we put into our bodies thats is obviously the "science" of it and is also the "most basic" reason bakit nagkakaroon ng pagbabago katawan mo pag nageexercise ka particularly lifting weights. hindi yun lumalaki or nagkakalaman dahil alam ng katawan natin nag be bench press tayu, nagsasquat, or may hawak lang tayong dumbell. Since sabi mo na "kaya mo na" buhatin ung 20lbs na dumbell it only means na lumakas ka na at nakapag build na ng "enough" muscles yung katawan mo for that certain amount of tension. Since kaya na nya yung bigat yun there is no need for it to grow further and build more muscles kasi hindi na threat sa kanya yung ganung bigat. now kung kuntento ka na sa ganyan kalaking built then good andun ka na sa goal mo (but i'm presuming your not yet done tama ba?). kung hindi then its time to level-up your game bodyweight execises sa bahay will defnitely be your best bet gaya ng sinabi ni dalton at stannis, you can still make use of your dumbells in "some" exercises if you wish it. The point is you need to put enough tension sa katawan mo in order na magkalaman ka para mag adapt ung katawan mo to grow enough muscles na gusto mo.

I hope this helps you to your journey kahit na medyo mahaba ang post ko. :)

Ayun!

Bravo! :)

    @Stannis

cge nga, explain to me how human body gains muscle?

ayus lang yun nde naman ako nageexplain kahit kanino sir milk eh except dun sa "nagtanong" at "humingi" ng advice. if anyone is not pleased by my answers they are free to give other answers as long it "makes sense". everyone has their right to voice their opinion but not at the expense of letting someone fail. This forum is supposed to help others "grow" not to ruin other people's goals. I'm far from being an expert but at least i know well enough what makes sense and what is not Basics are basics after all hehehe nuff said :)
